I am not able to install my new Epson l355 printer as it is not connecting to my Airtel WiFi router (Beetel 440txi, 7 years old). However, when I try to install it using a different WiFi modem (my neighbour's 2 years old modem), I am able to install the printer on their network.
Why is the printer not getting installed on my home network?

Old routers might have trouble adjusting to new products and in some cases you need to perform additional configuration. First, connect to your router then disable the firewall and enable the NAT feature. This will automatically forward the required ports so that the printer is available. You should also configure the printer's settings from its own menu.
